Umbrellas of Refuge

Materials needed:
• Construction paper of assorted colors
• Scissors
• Glue
• Writing utensils

What I Did:
I cut out all of the umbrella pieces and raindrops on assorted colors of construction paper and the long strip of white paper for the verse . And then wrote out the verse on the white paper before I glued it.
Then I glued all of the pieces to the black contradiction paper. Give the kids free reign to decorate after the gluing of all of the pieces.

Clouds of Love

Materials needed:
• Assorted colors of construction paper (for clouds & hearts)
• Yarn or string
• Hole puncher (*recommended)

What I Did:
First, I cut out a cloud out of white copy paper (white construction paper would work too). Then I hole-punched a hole at the top of the cloud for a string to hang it by, and 6 holes at the bottom of the cloud for the rainbow of hearts.
I then tied 6 strings in the 6 holes at the bottom of the cloud. Then I wrote the verse on the cloud and names of people I love on the little hearts. Then glue the hearts with Elmer's glue onto the 6 strings (in rainbow order).
Then you can decorate the cloud with stickers or anything you want when finished.
